Star Wars fans all over Twitter have been begging Funko to release a Ben Solo Funko Pop ever since The Rise of Skywalker was released last December.
Ben Solo with his good boi sweater was easily one of the best parts of Episode IX, and one of the best Star Wars characters of all time. So why no Funko? Perhaps it was considered too spoilery.
In addition to Ben Solo, Rey Skywalker with her white-gold or yellow lightsaber (the TROS novelization refers to it as white-gold) is also in high demand, and with good reason–it’s the first yellow lightsaber outside of the cartoons.
And of course, everyone loves Palpatine wearing new clothes, including his Rise of Skywalker red-lined robes. And by the way, those red robes were under his clothes the entire movie.
Well, I have good news for all of you. According to Anerdydad on Instagram, we are soon to get 4 new Rise of Skywalker Funkos:
- Ben Solo
- Rey Skywalker with the yellow lightsaber
- Emperor Palpatine newly rejuvenated with Dyad power
- Rey Skywalker with Luke and Leia’s lightsabers.
No word on the date of release, but I would not be surprised if it is this winter.
